What was once tired and underused has been thoughtfully restored into a warm, welcoming pub we are proud to call home.

Original beams, individual rooms, rich greens, comfortable seating and a garden made for long afternoons all form part of The Bear today. The result is somewhere that feels special without ever feeling formal.

The Old Bar Area

Our Beautiful Bar.

The original bar was stripped back and completely refreshed with deep green finishes, a warm brass top, new lighting and a more welcoming layout.

The Garden

From overlooked space to somewhere you want to stay.

The outside area was cleared and transformed into a relaxed garden with comfortable seating and warm evening lighting.

The Exterior

A new first impression.

The old grey frontage was refreshed with The Bear’s heritage green, crisp white windows, planting and new branding.
